Angel Pattern
an app based on the information of this video:

[ Experimental ]
requires the STANDALONEMAIN app and the external sensor (hardware) from mindlyft
The angel pattern is an interesting observation that the biocybernaut discovered (https://youtu.be/w3j4AGQeTEY?si=IwgmY6Qg9MLA1T1d) . That when this person has a specific set of brainwaves, they will be able to perceive angels. I have not tested this extensively yet, but that is the goal of the angel pattern app. On a side note, some of the features, you can hover over them with your mouse and a hint window will appear giving you a basic description of the functionality of that control.
As with all of the products I make, you'll have to run it in StandaloneMAIN or MAX MSP if you have it.
At the very top left, is the OSC port number to match with the mind monitor. Then moving down, the white box is various alpha measurements in real time. There are 4 sensors on the muse headband (front left, front right, back left, back right, + the external sensor). This box is mainly to see that you are getting data from the mind monitor app.
Moving to the right of that box is the data for the external sensor (which this app requires). The one I'm using is from Mindlyft and it is used to measure the centreals (top of the head). it plugs into the micro USB port on the muse headband. Let me know if you have questions on this.
In essence the angel brainwave pattern is when the central alpha waves are greater than the rear (occipital) alpha brain waves. when that is happening the little "Top > Back = Good " X should light up and the volume slider should go up. And to load any audio into the audio player, simply drag an mp3 into the grey box underneath the volume slider. there should be a loop option as well. Next to the "External Sensor Amplitude" is a slider. This basically determines how sensitive you want the alpha from the external sensor to be. Example: if you are not making any alpha from the external sensor and want it to be more sesitive, move the slider up (to the right). If you are making too much alpha on the external sensor (aka it's too easy for you to hear the sound) drag the slider down (to the left) to open up the possibility for you to learn to make even more alpha from your centerals.
Since I'm using the FFT analysis, with the external sensor, it gathers an average from 8hz to 13hz (which you can see on the multi slider in the upper rightmost box).
now let's move to the 2 main lower boxes.
The "Back > Front" :
This is the same layout as many of my other devices. It measures your alpha average from front and back. and when you have a stronger rear alpha average than front alpha average, the tone which you have loaded in the audio player will sound. note: having stronger alpha in the rear is common so it should be relatively easy.
You should have received some audio files with your download (flutes, oboes, etc). load one of the sounds into the corresponding audio player by clicking the "Choose Sound" box.
the ANGEL Pattern box to the right of that is the same as what I talked about above but to activate this audio player, the following must be true:
- your back alpha needs to be stronger than front (this is easy to to and most normal people are already doing this)
- you external alpha (top/centerals) must be greater than your rear alpha wave. This is the Essence of the Angel Pattern app.
below both of the main boxes should be a scrolling graph which you can activate or observe with the large X next to it. This way you can see a history of brainwaves.
and with all my devices/apps, the speaker button (at the bottom left) must be enabled. It turns on the audio engine for the entire system.
Pink = front > back
Blue = back > front
White = angel frequency = top > back > front
If you can see it, the colors correspond to the 3 different boxes.
